Jay D. Stein is President of Sandor Development Company’s Scottsdale division and is responsible for the development and portfolio growth of the organization. Jay joined Sandor in 1989, when the company had developments in just four states. Sandor will open its 25th state in 2006. Jay is actively involved in all acquisitions and developments, including the purchases of raw land, existing shopping centers and triple net deals. Jay, along with David and Sidney Eskenazi, has been instrumental in creating Sandor Development’s newest business, Sand Capital, a company which purchases under performing loans secured by commercial real estate. Jay received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Arizona (B.A. 1986; J.D. 1989).
