Bill Niemier is the chief counsel for Indianapolis. Prior to joining Sandor Development Company, Bill was the Chief Counsel for the Indiana Port Commission, where he advised Commissioners, the Executive Director and Senior Management on a variety of legal issues, ensured compliance with state and federal laws, negotiated and prepared leases and contracts with vendors and service providers, and represented the Commission in various state and federal litigation. Bill has also served as the Section Chief of the Medical Licensing Section of the Indiana Attorney General's Office. Prior to joining the public sector, Bill was a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Wood Tuohy Gleason Mercer & Herrin, where his practice concentrated on real estate transactions and litigation. Bill received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in 1990, studied law at Oxford University, Oxford, England, and received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wabash College in 1987.
