SDC Collections Manager

Sandor has an opening for an experienced Collections Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of our tenant collections and accounts receivable functions across the US including preparation of aging reports, past due collections, and review of tenant ledger balances. The Collections Manager position requires significant interaction with tenants on a regular basis including visiting tenant premises.

The Collections Manager position will report to our Chief Financial Officer as a member of the Finance & Accounting Team in our Indianapolis headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation and analysis of tenant ledger reports • Accurate completion of weekly A/R reconciliation • Maintaining, updating, and filing of tenant records and account files • Maintaining confidential customer information • Process ownership of any incoming telephone calls received regarding tenant accounts • Promptly updating YARDI records • Adding new customers and updating existing tenant information in YARDI • Accuracy and completeness of all information. • Ad hoc reports including tenant CAM / NNN reconciliations • Coordination and liaison with other departments • Special projects as assigned

SKILLS

The Collections Manager position demands a candidate with a professional attitude and a strong work ethic. The extensive collection responsibilities will required strong communication skills as well as mental toughness to aggressively pursue past due monies from tenants. The ideal candidate will be a proficient Microsoft Office Suite user (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). The position requires a high level of accountability to perform and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. The position requires a professional that can multi task and manage multiple priorities in challenging and exciting work environment. Candidate must be a team player and have a high degree of mathematical, clerical and computer skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of collection and accounts receivable experience and a proven track record.

SDC Director, Property Management

Sandor has an opening for an experienced Director, Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the property management of 7 million sf of retail space in 23 States. This person will play an integral role in developing processes and procedures to effectively run Property Management so that it can successfully manage the company’s expanding portfolio of properties.

The Director, Property Management position will report to our COO and be based in the Indianapolis, Indiana headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct management of Property Management teams in Indiana and Arizona • Lead Property Management, Lease Administration and Maintenance • Oversee investigation of tenant complaints and resolution of problems • Liaise with Finance and Leasing teams • Provide oversight of bids from contractors for repair and maintenance • Assume overall responsibility for insurance claim investigations • Special projects, as assigned

The ideal candidate for the Director, Property Management position will possess experience of management of retail centers; strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work comfortably in a fast paced environment. SDC Staff Accountant

Sandor has an opening for an experienced Staff Accountant.The highly visible Staff Accountant position will assist with all aspects of the accounting tasks. The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with and performing daily accounting activities as required in preparation of the monthly financial statements. The energetic and forward thinking Staff Accountant will be working in a challenging and rewarding environment in a newly created position that offers a high degree of variety, challenge and responsibility. The Staff Accountant will support and report to the Controller as a member of the Finance & Accounting Team in our Indianapolis headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Assistance in Financial Statement Preparation • General Ledger Postings & Reconciliations • Assistance with Month End Close Procedures • General Ledger Journal Entries • Fixed Asset Accounting • Real Estate Tax Analysis & Processing • Investment Accounting and Reporting • Preparation of Compliance Reports • Assist with Federal and State Tax Filings • Documentation of Processes and Procedures • Assist with Cash Receipts & ACH Processing • Tenant Ledger, CAM billings, and Bank Statement Reconciliations • Provide cross functional team assistance • Special Ad Hoc Projects as assigned SKILLS The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. The successful candidate requirements include advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, an aptitude for problem solving, critical thinking, attention to detail and a results driven attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with minimum of 3 to 5 years general accounting experience required. Basic knowledge of GAAP is required and public accounting experience is preferred.
