Noble Hatfield, J.D.General Counsel - Indianapolis
Noble Hatfield serves as General Counsel for Sandor's Indianapolis office.
After getting his Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) degree from Krannert Graduate School of Business at Purdue University in 1976, Noble embarked on a career in the printing business, spending 6 years on the administrative side and 18 years in sales. At age 37 he returned to school to study law and graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law–Indianapolis in 1992. He was taken into the Indiana Bar in January 1993. Noble pursued a dual career in printing sales and law until 2000, when he became a full-time attorney with Sandor Development Company. Previous to Sandor, Noble was General Counsel-Real Estate for Paul Harris Stores, a national popular-priced women’s clothing chain located in Indianapolis. In 2004 Noble moved to Simon Property Group, where he became Director–Legal Leasing in 2011. In November 2015 Noble returned to Sandor as General Counsel working out of the Indianapolis office.
Noble’s legal career includes working on the tenant side with Paul Harris, on strip centers and Community/Lifestyle centers with Sandor and Simon, and on enclosed malls with Simon, concentrating on national accounts and restaurants. He co-authored the book Commercial Real Estate Leases and Outlot Purchases, which was published by the American Bar Association in 2014. He and his co-author are writing a second book on restaurants and franchises, which will be published by the American Bar Association in Spring 2018.
